resisting every urge it’s about understanding why you feel them and then choosing a better path so how do I do this well sit down stop hissing and just listen I promise it’ll be useful I hope that you’ve seen the previous video but in it we discussed the marketing and cultural hold of NOAB and how it itself has self-limiting beliefs this video on the other hand will actually look at the Core Concepts of NOAB and what it actually preaches rather than what it markets these are the ways that it tells you that it is Optimum for quitting it the code concepts of it this is telling you that you need to work on your willpower this is telling you that you need to find some sort of reason and also that you need to cut down on your resistances we’ll break these one by one starting with the will power method now the willp power method can be called a bunch of things the Gogan way the simply sheer discipline will power method or what I like to call the Normy path because this is what people do even when they do not know about noap because it seems the most logical just stop doing it and there’s some wisdom in it but it also has a lot of things a lot of nuances which a lot of people don’t take in account and hence why they end up failing the will power method does work in the shortterm extremely well you can use it in the short term and shortterm being a few months roughly without having a lot of problems but it isn’t applicable for your entire life using discipline on building up your identity and self-esteem can be good if you’ve done something which makes you proud like going on some sort of sport tournament and getting put is results getting good grads anything which gives you Pride again then why can’t you win this easy little battle in your mind and hence it empowers you it improves your self-esteem and all of these things end up making quitting it easier however we need to realize that VI willp power has a lot of potential and is good in the short term it can’t be something which you can use in the long term without having consequences imagine that you need to break a rock you can go to the Shaolin school learn kung fu for like 5 years and then finally break the rock with like one punch or you can just get a hammer break it in a matter of seconds and go on your Merry way instead using your willpower on things which are far more important rather than just breaking that simple Rock something which will actually improve your life perhaps your families Etc and hence making you a happier person overall without wasting the precious time you have one thing you need to realize is that yes I’ve said that will baa is a limited resource it can be grown but it’s very very slow however trying to build up discipline whilst having this internal sort of traumas or whatever else you may have had or experienced the will power path requires you to maintain a Forever War inside of yourself which most people are not willing to engage I do 5 to 8 hours of deep work I make notes on the books I’ve read I work out every day I wake up at 5: in the morning Etc and even I will say that having this tension having this constant battle in my mind that if I don’t do this I’ll relapse on corn and I need to constantly resist it was eating up all of my focus to the point that I wasn’t able to focus on anything else every moment can become a battle because a four is never defeated many say that they wish to live like gogans that they constantly wish to live on the edge constantly wish to fight their fears to work out 24/7 however people need to realize that this corn this addiction or whatever becomes a demon which you fight every day which most people aren’t equipped to deal with nor are they training themselves to be and nor are they trying to become that person the reason gogin overcame obesity a demon of his own is because his demon of not being good enough was Far Far bigger his feets are undoubtedly very admirable and I do look up to him but people don’t see what it takes to become a monster like this the trauma he’s gone through the physical abuse that he’s gone through not to mention the mental one the neglect he’s gone through the divorces the isolation all of these things have shaped up gorgin into who he is today and he is by no means a perfect human being he’s trying to be in his own way but that doesn’t mean this is for everyone fighting your demons yes however you need to realize realiz that this demon isn’t worth fighting because it can never be defeated because it’s based on self-limiting beliefs which you need to break through I haven’t even taken into account all of the things external in our life which will drain our willpower it could be work exams commitments arguments Etc all of which in the past have ruined my streaks of no FB when I was trying to use willpower we need to realize that discipline is a limited resources and should be treated as so you need to you could increase it like a muscle if you give it too much stimulus without giving it time to recover to rest and grow it will break you will break and then you will feel the pain because you couldn’t quit it again this time and then you will try to run away from that pain and what was the way that you ran away from pain that you made everything numb exactly again there’s a reason that I chose the picture of the snake eating itself it could be stress reduction loneliness Etc whatever reason you’re using corn for you simultaneously see that’s something which fix fixes our problems and that we are also tormented by it and waste our willpower on resisting it because we see it as the cause of our pain but also the solution to it look at normal people when you relapse and yes it’s a matter of when not if with willpower you will feel regret you will feel shame and you will feel guilt which in my eyes are far worse than the corn itself and those things again those things that you experience will be far worse and they will again result in you wanting the corn itself this is why I don’t like organizations who use punishment as a way to prevent you from doing something in the end we end up punishing ourselves whether it be some of the more Sigma guys on YouTube who motivate themselves by saying if I do this if I not I am weak I am and then you watch them you think that’s cool as hell you end up believing that and then you inevitably nut and this belief about that you nut you are a craven bastard this belief just comes up in your mind now you remember the guy you look up to and his words and then you see what you’ve done the PostNet Clarity hits you so hard and you just think what am I now when we punish ourselves for relapsing we don’t actually learn to quit we just learn to hide from it better it’s like a teenager who gets grounded for sneaking out to a party and then gets caught they don’t learn to do the good things like studying or going to church or whatever because they want to they just simply learn to not get caught next time punishment doesn’t fix anything it doesn’t make us want to do the good things it simply makes us feel bad and constantly think about it will power is like trying to swim through the English Channel on a boat which has holes in it and then being disappointed feeling guilt regret shame all of these things when it doesn’t go all the way through of course it doesn’t and that’s because we need to to find the right V for it a better path in my eyes rather than constantly fighting your beliefs is to not even think about it which we’ll get to eventually NOAB actually tries this but with AA it actively disempowers You by seeing that we’re powerless it puts your existence your body in the hands of something external it infantilizes you when you know when everyone knows steep down that God nature fate whatever that made you gave you sufficient powers to handle it yourself the second method which makes up noap is trying to reduce your urges if willpower is trying to attack it with a sword cutting out resistances is like wearing a shield or a helmet this in Normy terms or in terms of alcohol would mean talking less to people who used to drink with reducing any imagy like posters of such of people drinking avoiding any situations where it could be ordered cleaning your fridge Etc in noap DOS it could mean something like having web lockers for websites explicit image blocking for extensions on your browser not Doom scrolling keeping busy touching grass being unable to open the private tab due to manual settings and having black and white mode on to make images in general less stimulative all of these things I do to an extent but you need to realize that this is a general dopamine detox lifestyle for more focus and it can work but you need to realize that all of these things stay on because I genuinely want it to stay on and can find a way to get around it if I desire I could download a different browser I could disable monochrome mode I could turn off the web blockers Etc so that whilst it reduces the chances of the thought entering if it enters and if I actually choose to entertain it then I can easily turn it off if you still have self-limiting beliefs and you think that corn or whatever is pleasurable then you will find the PATH if there is a why there is always a v as people say an addict’s best part isn’t the drug itself but the process of getting it due to the feeling of forbiddenness of guilt of regret in noap terms it means that whilst ejaculation can be pleasurable it isn’t the thing that we want inherently because if that was just the main thing why the hell would we need all of the other things good part about it good in quotes is the gooning the dopamine that hits you the headache that follows after because you’ve burnt out your dopamine receptors seeing 100 women or whatever having a digital harm all of these things are the reason you actually end up doing it of course this is all Just an Illusion and when you actually realize that it will become very easy to quit it this is not even mentioning all of the feelings of forbiddenness of regret guilt shame Etc hting you which also affect your brain which also cause more dopamine to be released like said all of these things build up to a crescendo this tension and you lose your control the damn breaks and you proceed to nut and then you get hit with the post nut clarity as said before with all the things like brain gets stuper not saki will up Etc which people will gim further increasing the regret increasing the guil until it builds up again the Dam breaks and it just continues on and on and on if you’re very deep into it like I was you may not even get hit with the guilt and regret after but instead during the process which instead makes you want to run away even more this path whil good in terms of a g Life Style as a method of quitting this path is stupid as much as it and noap wish to take away control from you to tell you that there’s a demon inside of you to infantilize you this is simply not how it works we choose it we turn off the browser blockers we find a secluded place we pick up the phone we type whatever things and we do the deed and then we also feel and choose to feel the pain it doesn’t address the reason as to why we do it because the control is something that you have and never lost regardless of whatever other people tell you and you need to find out why you do it no it’s not the dopamine no it’s not something like the 100 woman around me blah blah blah it’s something which you need to find out yourself and it’s something more deeper something less base than that we can say that it’s the dopamine receptors getting hijacked or some weird Kinks or whatever perhaps even genetics sure those things do affect aprin but you need to realize that you still haven’t lost control if a person with a gun walked in whilst you’re doing the deed you won’t be looking at it any anymore why because you value your life it’s very simple we choose the method the path in our life which we see as the happiest and right now for whatever reason you see corn using it or maybe even drowning in it as the easiest path as the simplest path you have right now this is something we’ll cover in the next part I would like to remind you all however that certain times web blockers have prevented me from doing stupid things for example putting a downtime on my phone meaning that that I cannot access it after a certain time or before a certain time made me unable to access the phone perhaps it takes away pain it gives you comfort Etc this is still our choice these are the logical brain Washings that a brain claims that we use it for and when we take all of these away all that’s left is the decision of quitting and being happy about however what it doesn’t take in account is the PDP also known as a positive Drive principle our brain is looking for happiness if it sees genuine happiness in corn then it goes after it all choices are made in pursuit of this fulfillment that a brain desires this includes even costly behaviors which are relatively irrational imagine I told you to get in debt for years and years on end decades even for a thing which you will barely own and when you do you will be at your deathbed this is a Mortage yet people do it regardless of whether it seems objectively irrational or not or perhaps a football player who the doctor tells that his knees will be irreversibly damaged if he continues to play and yet he still chooses to what we as humans wish to do rather than the happiest option which is scorn is to choose the happier option of whatever we choose this not Society to take this dark part of our Consciousness and bring it to the light is the best thing we can do for ourselves to be without shame or without being guilt stripped is the best thing that will result in you making choices which are actually authentic focus on the this means actually hearing out the side of your brain that wants it this could start by journaling and introspection which we’ll get to in the next video but here’s a basic understanding meditation works in the sense that it makes you more conscious of what you’re thinking and allows you to see what it is you you actually really want in this context it doesn’t mean just sitting and focusing on your breath but simply focusing on your Consciousness compared to the activity itself this could mean that rather than just focusing on the tension in your brain of ah I want this uh let’s say cigarette you are actually conscious about what is happening and see if you’re actually even enjoying it rather than this chance of dopamine where you don’t even know what happened and are just acting like a monkey they notice for example when someone is smoking but doing it mindfully this time they notice the chemically taste in the cigarette in the Smoke hence preventing you from smoking further because you don’t even really enjoy the activity it could mean that rather than just focusing on some fantasy in your mind whilst watching corn you simply realize that hm there’s a screen in front of me and that there’s some voice or audio coming out of it and that there’s no one here and I’m sitting here with a hunched back posture and that none of my problems are being solved and that simply takes away the fun out of the one problem with the meditation method that it shares with the willp power method is that it takes time to actually deliver less so than the willpower method however to get this level of understanding to get this level of Consciousness in your mind to notice all of these things it could take anywhere from a few months to roughly a year because your meditation or your logical aspect will be constantly fighting for ground against your emotional or your reptilian mind at its score introspection is is about taking off the cover of whatever fantasy we have about the substance alcohol becomes some bad tasting liquid some rotten carbohydrates cigarettes become a weird chemical taste in your mouth corn becomes flashing pixels on the screen Etc as said before our brain has three PS the dopamine or Reptilian Brain the emotional or Maman brain and the logical or human brain the more we use a part the more it grows the less we use it then it shrinks meditation is teaching you to use your local brain more your conscious brain more and hence increasing our Willow but also how conscious we are problem is that there will be times where you’re exhausted when you have no Willow or maybe even desire to be conscious and you think you deserve a reward for whatever hard work that you’ve done and then you’ll not which will make The Reptilian Brain stronger however what you need to realize is that the mindfulness method it’s constantly fighting against all of the pulls of cornography of the tension in your brain and hence it’s constant in a battle introspection in it is more of a passive effect rather than active one so what we need to do is make the introspection more active and doing it directly rather than passively and this is done by addressing the
